Heather W. McMahon

Locations :  Burlington – NC, Telemental Health – NC & GA

I work with clients who struggle with dead-end relationships they cannot reconcile, jobs that make them feel trapped, and people who cannot seem to find their way to a happy life.  Anxiety, fear and sadness make them feel stuck and hopeless.  If you are ready to start feeling confident, hopeful and prepared to commit to taking steps toward a happy life, it’s time to work together. I am straight forward and down to earth.  I value a sense of humor.  Let counseling help you to build a future without a dark cloud over it.

Heather has been counseling for over 15 years.  She has experience helping people out of depression and free from anxiety and panic in a variety of settings and for a variety of reasons.  Heather graduated from the University of Georgia with a M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling.  She has held licenses in other states but is currently a Licensed Practical Counseling in the state of North Carolina.  She has worked in private practice, hospitals, treatment programs and crisis centers and is now focused on tele-mental health.  She is excited to make counseling easier, more discreet and convenient to fit into busy schedules

“Through my life experiences I’ve become adept at bringing order to chaos. My life’s work has been to help others navigate the turbulent waters of their own crisis situations.”
