My philosophy of treatment is establishing a therapeutic relationship in a safe and trusting environment which fosters the client’s ability to increase insight and awareness as well as identifying and utilizing effective coping skills to bring about change.”

Yvette has been in Behavioral Health since 1989. She studied as an undergraduate at the University of Connecticut and then earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling at Saint Joseph College. She holds a Georgia License for Professional Counselors which she’s had since 2001.  Yvette’s ability to truly help her clients have made her well-respected in her field.  Yvette has worked in private practice as well as institutional settings. Her background and experience varies widely.  In addition to individual, group, couples and family therapy, Yvette’s specialties include:
